$1000 a month plus utils and stuff, works out to be around $1250 for everything

ARE YOU SAYING 1250 FOR ONE PERSON .... IN NORFOLK? I can understand if its their own house paying that much but for one room.

That's crazy. My house is only $725... granted, the house in this looks a lot nicer and bigger than my shit hole of a home.

That's the total rent, that would be divided between the residents. It's a nice neighborhood, and as a plus, the neighbor has an inground pool, and is cool as shit about others coming over for a swim.

Yea, that does sound like a lot... especially for just a roommate. The rent on my entire house was like $800. And I used to charge him $300 plus 1/3 of utilities. and that was 4 BR, 2.5 bath, 2 car garage, etc...

... I should've charged like $4-500 though... oh well...

Even 3 ways thats too much for me. I pay $275/mo and I live in a 5 bedroom 3 bath house adjacent ODU currently. If i didnt have a car [ayment and insurance on 2 cars, I might be able to swing more rent.
