How do Flowmaster 40 series sound on this car? I f anyone has one with them on it in the local area(Newport News) could I possibly get up with you to see if i like the sound or if it is to much?

 

Just welded into the stock catback, itll sound good, not extremely loud, but the sound will be good. Match it up with a Prochamber and itll sound fucking mean as hell.

IMO, flowmasters on a mod engine sound decent, but not as good as they do on a 5.0. i absoultely love the Bassani and Borlas on the mods, esp. if they have an O/R X on it too..

i have flowmasters. i love the sound but they do suck for performance.

 

If you haven't heard a SLP cat-back. You don't know what your missing! SLP is the best sounding thing for a Mustang and damn good performance too.

On most Mustangs your going to gain 1-5 horsepower with a different muffler. Something Id sacrifice anyday for sound.

 

that's true on most cars. like flowmaster on a camaro will give you a gain over stock and sound great, but most guys go with the SLP loudmouth to maximize their hp gain. i heard the loudmouth is too loud once you get headers though.
