Or how about the fact that I now have my CCW's apart for a rebuild, and am looking for a decent looking set of wheels to have in the garage in case I want to drive the car. Steelies and hubcaps isn't my thing.

The difference between now and the early and mid 2000's...is that there are so many aftermarket wheel manufacturers that sell them for so cheap...that OEM wheels don't hold value anymore. It used to be that OEM or a couple limited manufacturers were your options; no longer the case.
