Oh yeah, and Llama dude is right, though I have no idea how the hell he knew that. I am trying to put a V8 in a RX-7, and I was wondering if that would be illegal due to the engine, even though it is an import.

My best advice would be to call.

Why are you so worried about winning at Natural Bridge? If your trying to get your name out there, why not start participating in bigger events.

Same here man, but keep your head up! You're doing what I wish I would have done (except for the choice of schools)

Well I don't really care about being in bigger events. I just want to run some quick ass times at NB and Shelor. I don't really have to win either, but that is just what I was shooting for. I like to aim high.

Re: What are the specifics for NB and Shelor?
Back when the quick 8 was conceived, it was for 4cyl street cars. No slicks, good inspection, no trailers etc...that all went to shit pretty quickly - at the first event actually, where the 2nd place car was a trailered, slicked, race car.
I really don't think there have been any rules in the last few other than that the car is foreign-made.
If you guys have suggestions for a good street car class let me know, I've been trying to put together a set of rules for one that will hopefully run on a few area tracks. I think the level of the local imports has gotten to where they can compete with domestics in one class and should simply be given max. tire requirement to keep cars equal.
