just want to throw out a congrats to reece. he came to me with a black 2g awd and needed more that a little work to say the least, with a lot of help, blood, sweat, tears, (and money!!!) he just ran a 7.8 @ 94mph tonight FIRST TIME EVER AT A TRACK!!!. won the quick 8 and took home a trophy. aint that some shit. i feel this is only the beginning.

Isn't quick 8 heads up? I've never run it cause I thought it was for the big dogs, but if a 7.8 car can win it, I might have to check it out Was this at NB?

 

i believe its for whoever is at the track that night. i think this was at the bridge also but i could be wrong.

 

It seems like just yesterday Reece was trimming the bumper to put that front mount on. Is he running DSMLink?

 

Yeah, that's what I figured. But when I lived up in Jersey the quick 8 guys were always 7/8sec cars (1/4 mile), so it wasn't even worth trying.

 

It was suppose to be the Import quick 8 or more less 6 cylinder cars or less they have a Mustang night and a camaro night I believe ...

ohhh i see thats why there was no 4sec camaros out there. yes he running link now. funny really, its my old injectors, turbo, mani, link, basicaly my old setup to the T. hes having much better success with it than i did though seeing that he has a wideband and i did not at the time. reguardless its quite the little beast now

 

Awesome stuff, if only my car went from 9.3's to trapping 94mph in one whole period of modding, talk about a step up, I bet he shit his pants when he first got it tuned.
