I'm not arguing with whether or not it's necessary to have a charity without a symbolic statue. That's a stupid argument. That doesn't change the fact that someone stole something stupid from a charity just to steal it, apparently. What would anyone do with a 6+ foot tall statue of Ronald McDonald? I give it a few days before someone gets caught as a result of Facebook uploads.

I'm not naming any names,but the big,blow-up McFrosty thing that sat in front of the Rocky Mount McDonalds(years ago,when the McFrosty first came out)once got stolen.They had an ad in the paper for it's return,with free Big Macs as a reward for any info.Some asshole turned in me and a couple friends as being the culprits.
Taking something from the onald MCDonald house is a whole different deal,though.

That's jacked up.... I put in a few days at Ronald McDonald house several times a year and once you work there and see what's going on and hear some of the stories from the families that stay there it's really an amazing thing they provide to people. A lot of people don't know that Roanoke Memorial is the only pediatric specialty hospital for some people in the surrounding areas to got to. A lot of the families that stay at the House come into town from WV. Some of the things that newborns are delivered with really hit the heart strings. Babies born with heart, lung, brain and spleen cancer just leave you at the lowest of lows...

 

its funny how a fast food join gets kids fat and sick then when we go to get fat from the food they have a donation box so we can help the fat and sick and feed them moar burgers

 

Considering Wendy was his daughter, I would hope not...
