It's not necessarily a charity 'supporting the children' exactly... The Ronald McDonald House(s) are there to provide a place for families to stay who can't afford to, or have nowhere else to stay when their children are hospitalized so that they can be there for them. They provide meals for the families, and a place to stay with the intent of making them feel 'at home.' Beats raising money for Haiti, anyway.

the statue isn't providing the money or a bed or the food or anything really.. who gives a flying fuck... it's kind of boastful to have a big fucking statue of some clown outside anyway... i'd hate to know money i donated to them went towards a statue of that goofy bastard. i've never seen it, but i'm glad it's gone.
