i saw that the other regional forums all had a post your ride thread and we didnt...so i decided to start one! this way we can find out if we've seen each other before.

Because it's not an image... You posted an image tag to a directory. It needs to be an image file to show up under an IMG (image) tag. You and Chad both grew up using typewriters, didn't ya? :D
