Megasquirt Installed
Havent been around much, but Im still working on the car and a few people showed interest in the Megasquirt I was talking about getting tuned on. MS1 V3-extra.
I installed it last weekend after purchasing a unit and wiring harness from a top tuner on the PT forums.
It came with install instructions and a base map tune.
Its not fully tuned yet but maybe at the end of Sept I'll get some dyno time. Also need to install the launch control.
I did have to improve upon the base tune and still have some warm up and crank settings to mess with. Also im learning as I go, getting help from the veterans. Using Tunerstudio instead of Megatune. And using Megalogviewer.
Im really liking it so far and getting rid of the VAF for a completely open flowing intake is nice.
The datalogging is very cool and I still have some 7k rpm pulls to do and log
. Then take the boost up after seeing the injectors can handle it. Pulls hard as it is now on 6psi still. Looking for 8-9 and 300whp.

new intake piping using a GM IAT sensor instead of VAF. Ill weld as much of it as I can soon.

So did I miss what kind of car this is? Obviously a mazda, a little more info?
Why would you name anything besides a water gun or a sex toy a megasquirt?

I dont know I didnt name it. But it makes a little sense if you think of fuel control. Good thing thats not its limitions though.
