Kind of interesting I heard on the radio about a place having a 36 hour LAN gaming party thing. If I hear it again on the radio Monday I'll be sure to post up the info for those that are into the LAN gaming scene (if there is one).

I wish more people were into it in this area. Here in wilm I believe the biggest lan party I organized held 25~ people and I made close to $200 that night 
Some were bets but 90% of that was charging 5$ per person and then charging for food and drinks and renting extra pc's. I love organizing lan parties. It lasted almost the entire weekend.

biggest lan my friend and I had was 15 people in his basement..we had the bottom half of a warehouse..we had over 30 peeps. Mostly its non profit, all fun. But yeah...it'd be cool to have another..I might show up

Yup yup.. about 30 people in my basement 
all with monitors and cpus.. and miscellaneous gadgets .. it was pretty .. well hot.. even with all the windows and doors open.. then we've had it at the bottom of beltone hearing aids downtown.. they've had that there since my house became too small.. I've heard 30+ people there 3-4 times.. good stuff.. then there is always the computer store on mainstreet salem.. that has 10+ computers all 2 gigs at least.. running cs etc etc.. around here.. there are lots of nerds

mainly sit in front of a pc for a couple days straight drinking soda non-stop and thinking of nothing else than killing your neighbors beside you...or drinking beer/vodka while killing your neighbors beside you....thats a bit more challenging and fun.

just bring your pc, and some cat5, and put your name on the list in the thread linked above.if your name isnt on the list, we wont have space prepared for you.
