well this just sucks ass!i got my innovative deull bb gt30 rebuild awhile back for $584.00 and had it on the car ready to make its first test run.everything was fine on warm up then i took it out went through first then second and heard a bad sound of a toasted turbocharger.i pulled in and could not beleive what i saw.the comp wheel was rubbing the comp cover and was done,just like that!at 9 psi to start i check anything that made me think i had something to do with what it did.theres nothing,return line perfect and the feed is an earls -4 line and filter that flowed oil just fine.nothing got sucked into the inlet,so what else?a bad rebuild is the only thing i came up with and its a fact.theres nothing i did to cause this and innovative said they never seen this before.they also said they will take care of IT AND I HOPE THEY DO.FUCK I DID NOT EVEN MAKE IT A MILE!this really sucks assholes since i can drive the car now after a year of putting it togather.

 

Did you prime the turbo?

Turbo disconnected and oil feed disconnected, crank the car until you see oil?

 

ah,ya!mobil1 unplug coil pack as i have done for years till psi comes up on the gauge.and even filled the earls filter with royal purple assembly lube!

its a 90 mirage hatch. i called and was like wtf,i never seen this and they have not themselves.as soon as it built boost in second it was done.they said send it back and they will take care of it.

BTW, its not a 30r. its a dbb 50 trim

 

yes 50trim,they said it flowed the same as a gt3076.

 

innovative told me that it flows the same but if you look at the 3076 and this one it flows a few lbs less.they dont like to tell you anything anyway so whatever.know anyone that has a fp red or green?
