Default Fuel.....

Just figured I'd mention if anyone needs race gas the Sunoco on 460 has cam 2 (the 112 variant). Currently 8.99/gal.

Though for that price it's worth the trip to wytheville or c-ville for e85 if you have the fuel system to support.

You would think that all the new cars that can run on both e-85 and with people wanting to run it for performance they would have e-85 around Roanoke. It seems dumb that a little town has it but cities dont.

Well it makes a little sense to have it in smaller towns/cities because people out there commute to larger cities thus require a larger driving distance.

E85 is more fuel efficient correct.

Default Fuel.....

No you use 3 times the amount because its less explosive. I read somewhere that after they ship it out of the middle of the country to the coasts it ends up being just as much as gasoline.

It costs what regular grade does or less generally. And yes it is ~30% less efficient mileage wise, power wise quite the contrary.

There are two mass fuel storage facilities local with e100 tanks. Tis not like they have to ship it everywhere.

For my senior design project I did an E85 conversion on my instructors fomula mazda. He converted it to a motec efi setup the previous year. The base tunewas 40% more fuel with the E85. We kept having to add fuel throughout the power tuning. We gained between 10-11% in power.
