sorry....when it comes to something like this, it boils down to someone not knowing what is going on, and if someone is going to spend that kind of money on something to be done, and they dont do their homework....that is pure stupidity.

ooook.....you come and tell everyone how this shop fucked your friend, and since you gave all the info (which, i applaud you for doing, most people wouldnt say how much they spent and whatnot) and actually expected to hear all good stuff for you? i mean damn....i kinda (note, very little) feel sorry for the dude for gettin ripped off, but it is not all the shops fault. my thought on the matter is that the person that got "ripped off" wouldnt have been so if he(or she...dont know the whole story) had done their homework, and knew at least the minimum that needed to be done, and had a good idea of how much it should cost, etc.
i am a firm believer in "buyer beware" (also a believer in "you get what you pay for...but that goes hand in hand with "buyer beware", and isnt the case here")
if you think of it as name calling, so be it. i am merely pointing out the person was not intelligent in their choices, and generally that is deemed as stupid. but again, that is soley my opinion (although i am sure there are others on this board that agree with me.)
esp with a shop that has as shady of a reputation as this one does (i dont know of it personally, but from what i hear....its not the best.)
but anyway..good luck on dealing with repercussions of their work. you will need it....
