Friend just had local company CCI hack his car
(in case any one asks yes i wrote the same thing on honda-tech i just thing this info has to be put public)
I try to tell people about this company but no one listens, honestly they don't build anything nice the nice "show" cars they ahve for themselves they buy off of ebay.
i knew one of these storys when i talked to the owner of teh 2nd car a few months ago.
The so called "master tech" in question, as far as i know he dosn't have his L1 cert. He was fired from another place of business around the fredericksburg area (Express Auto) he was TOLD by the ONWER to use the tool on the power steering pump to pull the pulley off of it (ford tarous $500 pump) he didn't, broke the old and the new pump after being told by the owner of the company to use the tool because it woud break. That gives you an idea of the kinda of blatent disreguard for directions this person has.
He as also fired once from the SAME COMPANY! (CCI) for setting a truck on fire (ford ranger) i don't know the FULL story but it is a definate he DID set the truck on fire.
The "Mechanics" name is Chris Reed if you can even call him a mechanic. People around the NOVA/Fredericksburg area DO NOT take your car to CCI because you will get it back hacked up and broken and just done well... WRONG. i know of more horror stories if anyone would like to hear them.
I for one have been through the ASE courses and taken all but 4 of the tests and they are very challenging courses. and this kid does not have the sense to pass a damn IQ test

I heard that under the header wrap the tech may have used another type of tubing instead of the stainless..... Im going to try to get a pic of it without the wrap asap.
