I'am driving my car one day and it just dies, get it home and have no spark. Change out plugs, wires, and check the coils. I had the caps on the ecu replaced about a year ago, and now I think i have acid damage to the board.

So I was wondering if anyone local had a 1g ecu I could barrow to test or buy outright.

my car just stopped turnin on 2 days ago... im tryin to figure out whats wrong with it... the caps look fine... shes gettin spark but wont start

 

well if spark is good then your other quick option to check is fuel.

 

if it lost spark then it most likely lost injector pulse also, check it. its one of a few possible things: bad power transistor (aka ignitor or ignition module) [most likely], dead coil pack (doubt it), mpfi fuse, ecu damage, mfi relay, cam angle sensor.

 

messed around with the fuel pump relay today and she started.... but only with 2 cylinders so now im tryin to figure out how to get the out 2 workin... all cylinders gettin spark but no fuel i beleive

 

power transistor, its on the drivers side of the intake manifold under the coil pack. you probaly need a new one.

 

does that control the injectors?
