can anyone help change out an alternator in Blacksburg?

Default can anyone help change out an alternator in Blacksburg?
My brothers dakota needs a new alternator. He doesnt have any tools or anything at VT so I was wondering if someone could help him out so he doesnt have to pay some ridiculous charge for a shop to do it. Thanks
