Kiss my ass! I think he quoted me like $350-400 to recover the bottom of my front seats, and I even told him I didn't really care if they even matched. I'd really like to just get them repaired where the stitching has broken. Typical stitching failure on Jeep seats

Honestly I've never paid for anything there. They are lifelong friends of mine. They may be expensive (although I've never compared prices) but they do top-notch work.

Where would you guys recommend taking some exhaust tips to get welded onto an existing tip? I know that sounds crazy, but let me explain:

Cut off the the 4.5" section, leaving a long 4.5" tip:

And then weld said 4.5" tip onto the base of the existing 4.5" tip on the muffler.

Resulting on a 12" long tip coming off my muffler to replicate these:

but it'll just look kind of like this:

Your going to get a lot of mixed answers here. Everyone has there muffler "guy".

I've been going to Roberts in salem for years and dennis has always done great work for me. He's also done some wild setups for me that other shops turned down.

That was going to be my suggestion as well.

Sounds good. I forgot about that place, everyones been recommending me to go to perfection but after they welded my friends muffler straight to his subframe, I just don't want to go there.

One more question, who's a good/cheapish place to strip wheels? Im currently attempting to strip the white off my wheels for polishing, and its being a huge pita. Anyone here do chemical stripping?

Try Advanced Metal Finishing downtown. I don't know if they do it, but they do a lot of other metal finishing things, so if they can't, at least maybe they can point you in the right direction.
