SCCA Blue Ridge Region (http://www.brr-scca.org/) holds events in the area.
Next events are a "beginners" school on June 9 and AutoX on June 10th in Verona. After that theres a 2-day event at the airport in Danville on July 21 & 22.
Attendance ranges from 70 up to 120 drivers at the events.

Ya to bad you missed the Danville 2 weeks ago. It was actually underattendance as there is usually at least a 100 at Danville.
However the upcoming Virginia Coventry Commonwealth Games is coming up and there will be anywhere from 150-200 competiters.
Verona is in a week and a half.
I broke the Civic on the way back from Danville. Taking the Civic apart now.
