Default Need seat re-upholstered...

Anyone know who would be a good person to talk to about getting my driver's side seat in my 99 C5 re-upholstered.

Do it yourself... check out www.vetteessentials.com. Take a look at their how-to with pictures for installing their premium skins... it's easy. you can just buy new OEM skins from a place like www.gmpartshouse.com at cost. Call and ask for Gene Culley, tell him your a Corvette Forum member and he'll hook it up. If you have sport seats they come in 3 parts (base, seat back, seat back center). If you have standard seats (only offering in a FRC) then it's two parts.

Depending on how old your car is you may want to replace the seat foam too, you can get that for $250ish.

Thanks brian, I have a coupe (non-fr) with the sport seats (the ones with the gap at the top and the perforated leather). Yeah the foam needs replaced to. Thanks for the heads up.
