VMSC vs TSCC PAX Challenge! September 16th@ VMP!
 

Announcing the First Annual VMSC/TSCC Challenge!

The event will be held on September 16th at Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP) in Dinwiddie, Va! The event IS still a points event for TSCC in our own competition as well.

You probably have noticed this date is the same as our monthly event. We thought everyone might like a break from Pungo so that is why the event is a joint event @ VMP. We will not have an event at Pungo that month. For those concerned about having to get up way early relax. Due to local noise ordinances first car off is not until Noon! So drivers meeting is generally at 11 or 11:30. You can get there at 9 or 9:30 and be ready in plenty of time.

Registration will be handled via VMSC's normal MyAutoEvents.com registration. As usual with TSCC events, Full Members will not be required to pay for the event and Regular TSCC Members will get the same rate as they receive at TSCC events.

When registration opens, our normal registration link on the TSCC home page will be link to their registration. Full members will select the Pay at Event option when registering on-line. We will not be able to use our normal reserved numbers for the event as VMSC has their own reserved numbers for their members. Since they are hosting they get the privilege.

Due to the change in venue we ask that TSCC Full members go ahead and register for the event on-line.

The Challenge will take the format of the top 10 PAX from each club being averaged and the club with the lowest Club PAX taking the win. If you don't finish in the top 10 you will NOT hinder the club v club competition so please come on out and show the TSCC flag!

If you have never been to VMP it is a very large asphalt site where great courses are the norm. Much, much larger than Pungo!

A trophy is being acquired and winning club will hold onto it for the year. Next year we will do it again and the winner of that Challenge will take it home for the year.

Our Novices, lead by Jamie, have thrown down the gauntlet to their Novices for a Novice v Novice Challenge as well. I have conveyed this challenge to Justin the VMSC President and am awaiting their response.

This should be a fun and exciting event and we need everyone to come out and support TSCC in the face off against VMSC!
