Pungo is much smaller than ACU-4 and the pavement is much older (old WWII airfield), but it's held up surprisingly well- it's not like you're driving 60mph over nothing but potholes, but there are a few chunks missing here and there. We don't drive over the really broken sections, but it does place limits on course design. Most courses at Pungo involve two laps around most of the course, so only one car can be on at a time, but there are usually fewer people so it evens out. The important thing is that it's still fun, and that you let SSSUPRA, bumuda and Beach Cruiser run before you so they can clear all the airsoft pellets from the course

Here's Melissa at Pungo in April:

the paddock area is the worse but you wont be driving fast so you can avoid it. out on course is a little rough but you dont notice it all while driving.

My car is sitting pretty low, the only areas I have trouble with at pungo is the gravel entrance way. None of the course runs over any potholes or bad areas of concrete.
