I wouldn't call it easy to memorize. Shenandoah is... twisty and complicated, but very rewarding when you get it right. Personally I think it's one of the best learning tracks in the country. There's very little time when the wheels are pointed straight, and it has a nice variety of sections, plus some really unique stuff (i.e. replica of Nurburgring karussell.) If you can go fast @ Shenandoah, those skills will carry over to every other track...

I was just talking to Colin about this. I may be able to be convinced. My car didn't break last weekend due to the rain keeping me from driving it.

Coming off a scary weekend full of big horsepower cars with very green students on a very tight course in the wet, I'm very on edge about instructing at the moment to be honest. It was a very stressful couple of days. I almost lost my voice I was doing so much talking. Oh, and it doesn't help that we were very short on instructors as well so I was working double time...many students, check rides, riding along with advance students that needed more input, etc. Only 3 run groups...1, 2, Advance/Instructor. And the schedule went A/I, 2, 1, A/I, 2, 1. 6 sessions per day and I never took my helmet off. First time I've ever gotten motion sickness just from the constant, and I mean constant bouncing around. That and these students were testing my ability to want to sit shotgun at times. I sat out half my sessions just to not puke.

If the planets align, I sell my car this week, and I get my super sweet BMW RaZe Karr then I might attend.

Oh, and I need to get a truck also.

An event our shop helps sponsor every year with the SVTOA/TrackGuys. We did two days on Shenandoah and then one day on Main. All in the rain, it was miserable.

Possibly there (not to drive) on Saturday; it'd usually be no question but I've got this whole graduation thing going on that weekend.
