Exclamation Spring Tune up

Anyone interested in doing a Spring Test and Tune session at Fentress in March? I was thinking the saturday before the event. I will provide the timing equipment (which usually isn't brought out on saturdays), course, etc. The agenda would basically be setup the course for Sunday, mark it, etc. Then I will change the course for the test and tune. I was thinking a cost of $10 if you do NOT show up to help setup (Free if you get there early and put in some "sweat equity"). The advantage to this would be getting seat time and tring out new settings, etc. I'll bring tools, etc. Thoughts?

I am interested in this to get some more time in my car.

Is this going to be run on the new section in Fentress, or the normal area?

That will depend on Fentress' schedule. Because of the gear up for kicking Saddam's ass, Fentress' schedule is pretty full. I have a meeting Tues with Curtis at work (work related shit) but I'll talk to him before hand and see what it looks like. I HOPE to run it on the new section, but I can't promise anything. This is still 2 months out, so I probobly won't know anything firm about the location at Fentress until Marchish.

Talked to Curtis. The Spring TuneUp is good to go. A few slight changes...

What's going to happen is this. The "real" course for Sunday's event will be setup on either the "new" peice of concrete or the X. If we are clear to use the new stuff, the Tune Up course will be on the X. If we have to use the X, the Tune Up course will be on a different peice of concrete behind the X. That concrete is in pretty decient shape but we don't use it because it's somewhat narrow and doesn't make for the greatest courses, but it will work for this. So that's the deal.

I will post offical times in March when it becomes closer to the time.

So what's stopping you? The install is pretty straight forward. It's no fun, but it's not hard.
