scca with sr swapped 240

Im trying to get into SCCA and was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me with the classes.

Im a little confused on which one I would be in with my car. Its a 1997 240 with an sr swap..

Thanks for any help...much appreciated

I was in street modified when I was running a sr20, I don't know if the rules have changed in the past few years though.

Any swap is going into a Modded Class

You'll be in a modified class, your suspension mods will decide which one. Either SM or SM2 would be my guess. The PAXs aren't very friendly compared to the stock classes if you're trying to be competitive. If you're just trying to go out and have a good time, you'll be good to go. Not saying you won't be fast/beat other SM drivers, but if you look at the nationals, most of the upper runners are in stock prepared classes.

All but the go have fun is correct:D:D:D

Any swap that was not available from the factory in the US puts you into SM, SM2(for 2 seater's) or possibly the "Prepared" class if you go super crazy with the car. And at any thing event other than a local level you only run against the people in your class.

So just go and have fun.
