Went ahead and ordered this after reading a bunch of reviews on the helmet and from HelmetCity.com



They appear to be very return friendly, so if I don't like it I can just return it for something else.

Good deal They are very friendly from what I could tell in my couple conversations with them.

I got a call from them about 15 minutes after I placed the order.

"Just calling to inform you that the flat black version has not been manufactured yet and won't be for about 3 more weeks. Do you want to wait?"

"I was actually questioning my judgement of ordering a black helmet for an open cockpit car anyway, can you change it to white?

"You'll have a white one next Wednesday. If you have any issues with fit, just let us know and we'll try something else"

Yep, they called with the same info for me...lol. I ordered the flat black (closed cockpit use) and they changed my order to gloss black. Had it a couple days later.

Broke Neck

Open cockpit and black isnt an issue, did it all last summer and for the LeMons race.

But our race is in July, so 110 at VIR.

I remember the day I was wearing a black helmet, black suit, black gloves, black shoes, black balaclava, black errything....in a black GT500.....with a glass roof.

I was going to get all black stuff... you know... because it's cool. My tattoo artist has a pinstripe hookup, and I was going to get him to stripe my flat black helmet... you know... because that's cool.

Then I remembered it's not always 45 degrees. I'll be just fine in my uncool white helmet.
