ODR-SCCA May 6th Solo (Auto-X) Event at Pungo
 

Front gate opens at 7 AM. Registration opens at 8:30 AM while Tech is open from 9-10 AM. Novice Walk-Thru at 9:15 AM! Mandatory drivers meeting at 10AM. FCO at 10:30 AM. Five (5) timed runs for $25 (SCCA members) or $30 (non-SCCA drivers).

I looked around on the site but didn't see any safety gear info. Does a standard motorcycle helmet qualify for this event?

Yes, you can use a motorcycle helmet provided it's SNELL M2005 or newer rated. If it's just DOT-rated, it's not permitted. ODR has loaner helmets available if you need. FYI, TSCC uses different insurance and allows DOT-rated helmets, though SNELL helmets are still recommended.

I just arrived in VA after a 2500 mile drive from Idaho. I am at Ft. Eustis for the next 4 months and plan on attending your regions events. I am from the Salina Region in Kansas. I will be running STX and I hope to see you all on Sunday!

Preliminary Results have been posted. Please review, and let us know if there are any issues or corrections that need to be made.

Glad to see you were able to make it, Trevor! FYI, generally speaking, ODR runs the 1st Sunday of the month, and TSCC the 3rd; this year, both clubs are running at Pungo (and it's mostly the same people anyway). NASA and VMSC run in the Richmond area.
