ODR-SCCA July 4th Solo Event at Pungo, Fourth Event in the 2010 Championship Series
 

Front gate opens at 7 AM. Registration opens at 8:30 AM while Tech is open from 9-10 AM. Mandatory drivers meeting at 10AM. FCO at 10:30 AM. Four (4) timed runs for $25 (SCCA members) or $30 (non-SCCA drivers). Hope to see you there! For directions from your house to Pungo, use the following destination with your favorite mapware program:

No, see, it works out well- you can get drunk AFTER the race this time, instead of getting drunk the night before and being all hung over :)

I’m gonna try the first heat this time; maybe running right after the course walk though will help reduce the number of off course DNF’s I’ve been getting. I’ll be #07 for this one.

I just learned the Pungo Event is in jeopardy this month due to low event registration. ODR/SCCA needs to have a minimum of 24 entries by 8 PM Thursday evening otherwise they'll have to cancel the event on the 4th. Right now there are 18 entrants.

If you have been thinking about trying it, this would be the time.

Greg posted the course map. We need everyone to sign up! If we don't get at least 24 people pre-registered, the event will be canceled. C'mon out, what better way to celebrate 4th of July than making some noise with your car?

Alright, race is on!! Looking forward to this :D Thanks to all who signed up last minute to let this happen. Day-of registrations are still fine, but, well, we need pre-regs, too.
