Kinda cool but that means only one car on track at a time.

Compared to ACU-4, yes, it has.

It's a smaller venue and multiple laps are the only way to get a decent length course. There are a lot fewer people than come to ACU-4 (35-50 typically), so the race takes about the same amount of time.

And yeah, prices went up because Pungo started charging ODR-SCCA more to rent, and because attendance has been down (presumably from the economy). It's still not bad for a day of racing; we're lucky to have a 2nd venue like this so close.

If anyone's interested, ODR is looking for more tech workers and a new Tech Chief. If you're interested in training for SCCA tech (or are experienced and interested in taking over as tech chief), talk to Jim Herley. It's a good deal; if you work tech, that's your work assignment for the day- you don't have to work the course or do anything else.

ODR is looking for more people to train on computer and timing equipment, too. If you want to learn, talk to Melissa, Greg Smith or I, and we'll get you hooked up.

Price is pretty decent. Back in NH it was about $50 for 5-6 runs.
