Weather looks to be great today! Tech/Registration will open in a half hour and I believe will be open right until the driver's meeting at 10, so you've still got time, come on out

D@mn.....Woke up at about 7am and looked at the radar and saw a 70% chance of rain so I decided to stay in. The radar looks clear now in VA Beach....i'm pissed.

I'm sure it does. When it rains I will throw a check engine light for my MAF sensor if I go into boost. My STi doesn't like to be pushed too hard in the rain, the vented hood I have doesn't help.

Ended up being a beautiful morning. Rain held off juuuust long enough to finish both heats! Then started pouring right about the time the last cones were getting stacked. Was a blip that wasn't even on the radar an hour before, just BAM, storm comes out of nowhere and just dumped buckets of rain for about 10 minutes and has been off and on like that ever since.
The important thing is that everyone who showed up got 4 dry runs
I was struggling with this course today, though; it was a tight course and severely punished overdriving. Melissa did well, but it was just a terrible match for my driving style... I was just slaughtering cones all over the place, and slowing down only made me slower. Unlike last month, I at least pulled a fast (for me) clean run, but I wasn't happy with any of my runs, they all just felt so slow.

Very impressed that we were done by early afternoon!
There were a couple places on the course that penalized over-driving, but posted times I saw were very similar to last month's course, so it wasn't THAT 'tight'.
