No one should touch in a HPDE. This is not like you just get to go on track all by yourself. You will have an instructor in your car and so will everyone else on track with you. So there are 8 eyes making sure everyone plays nice.

i went to the website and read about this. but i just have a question. ive never done an hpde but i have done a few autocrosses with nasa. will i still get my first hpde for free?

Hmmm...still....I scared. Can't they just put me on the track by myself? The Stig can also drive while I'm driving.
