keep tabs on that adapter. They are pretty notorious for leaking and/or cracking.

I know the cheap ones are really notorious for leaking and cracking. The Mocal (i think that's it) are pretty solid. I've heard from a few people that they will leak after the first heat cycle. Then you usually have to tightne them again. This is all hearsay though, I've never personally used them, my DSM came equiped from the factory with an oil cooler like you have.

Cool, thanks for the info. I will keep an eye on it. I would imagine that it is important to get that thing tight but not too tight. I did see some billet ones but they cost 3 times as much as mine.

Another thing that can help is wrapping the part of the exhuast that goes under the oilpan. A friend of mine saw a 30 degree drop in oil temperatures by doing that.

I have the love child of an asian and american car company now owned by the Germans. It came stock with an oil cooler, intercooler, and power steering cooler. No tranny cooler though, it's a manual.

SR20DET's come stock with oil coolers also. The VE's do not. Oh well. Don't know any affordable european cars that have 190hp stock and 220hp modded hp (bolt on's) either in a 2 liter 4 cylinder NA engine. Its all just a crap shoot anyway. This car vs that car. Who cars.

BTW I got it all in today. Fits very well. I have a small drip. I dont know if that is a leak or just oil from the install. Chad cursed me.
