I have had my first experience of going in the to Millenium. I talked to the guys there while ordering a few small things for my RX7. Talking to the guy at the desk, he said he had autocrossed a few times but wanted to do some track events. He seemed very interested so I am gonna drop by with a list of web sites for upcomming track events. He had checked VIR's site, but it only listed spectator events. So I am going to give him NASA's site, MDA's site addresses. Any other organizations I should include that you guys would recommend?

Or should I just forget these guys. It is always good to get shops and vendors friendly with our types of events. It often helps us and helps them down the line. If someone says that Millenium is a bad place to deal with, then I will just forget it, but my experience with them was very good, But I am not in the Honda drag racing world either.

overall, i've heard good things about Millenium. They did Nate's h22 swap and it was pretty much flawless from what i've heard. i don't think i've heard many bad things about them, and if i have, it's too minor for me to remember.

MDA = Mazda Drivers Association . They are an offshoot of the Mazda Sportscar Club of Washington DC that wanted to organize track events at VIR and Summit Point. The events are open to anyone. Usually about 50% of the cars are Mazda and the rest assorted other cars. Their events are often refered to as MADS events. I think they are a pretty good bunch of people.

Check out some of the cars that were at one of their past events
http://www.mscw.com/MADS_Expo01/index.htm. That Team Tambourine Miata is powered by a 3 rotor 20B.

I stopped in at "Direct Performance" Saturday and can say that I was not real impressed.. especially as a "Diamond Star Specialist".
