GRIPFest 2011

I posted this in the "Events" section, but thought I would put the info in here as well...

We are a relatively new group and will be hosting a Time Attack event at NCCAR on Nov 19th. The link has more info and there are usually several of us at Pungo or VMP for the Autocross events if you have any questions. Hope to see some of you out there!

**EDIT** Reg is now closed via myautoevents.com in the link. Cash or PayPal will be taken via walk-up on the day of the event up to the 60 car limit. Late reg link...

Re: GRIPFest 2011

How does this work exactly. It's advertised as 25 total miles run or 10 laps for $150. I hope that is not true. What is the warm up time or total time on track per session?

Re: GRIPFest 2011

Its a single lap time attack. Come in and trip the timer, run the track and hit the timer out and then back in your heats line. Similar to how an autocross is done. Its not like an HPDE where you will have something like a 15 or 20min session. Right now we are looking at having 5 runs/driver in the AM and 5 runs after lunch.

I may attend this, and invite some friends. Autocross/HPDE type tech?

if its not a full house will there be more runs?

Re: GRIPFest 2011

YES! :D We are posting 10 runs on the day as that looks to be what we can get in with a full house. If we only sell half of the spots we will get as many runs in as we can for those that make it out. We wont be closing the event at lunch because everyone got 10 runs in by then. That would just mean we would shoot for 10 more ;) But again, 10 is what we are shooting for as a minimum. Anymore will depend on time avail.
