If I had not just spent ~5 months putting together a custom suspension set up I would submit something....I can definitely pass the info along.

Ya, I can think of at least 4 or 5 local autocross cars that are National level prep'd and results driven that are seen by 120+ competitors and spectators once a month. AST, Ground Control, Bilstein, Koni, are entreched and trusted brands but there is certainly room for quality competition.

Autocrossers are not poor, and I hazard to guess autocrossers across the country outnumber drifters by 10-1 on any given month. Autocrossing is established and not going anywhere, PLUS..autocrossers usually graduate to HPDE and amateur racing (SCCA and NASA). Lots of eyeballs at HPDE's seeing quick track cars and ready to spend the big bux on suspension in the hope's that it will help them keep up with the Spec Miata through the corners at VIR. Again, these folks are NOT poor.

Why limit yourself only to drifters? That's a tight portion of a big picture.

Exactly. I know of one local E30 and one local E46 DSP BMW autocross cars that are in the top 1% of the country for their class. The best of the best. I can personally guarantee that they have never heard of Fortune Coilovers, but can surely put them on the map IF the coilovers are good. If the motion ratios, graphs, and lo-hi damping characteristics are good, these guys can take the Fortunes National, and not limit them to some postage sized air-strip at the end of Fentress road.

If they are merely for looks and lowering, maybe not.

Exactly.

And even if not, there are more markets to tap beyond just the dorift0/autocross folks. Plenty of people are perfectly happy with looks and lowering.

If there's any group beyond the 240sx people that love a car with a nice stance, it's bimmer pricks :D.
