The sole purpose of me purchasing the H5 car and going to the HPDE's is to compete in the ECHC. I hope to be in the series by the end of the summer. Keith Edwards will be competing with me in my class.

I'm defeinetly going to one of the Hyper fest events. They have the Honda challenge as well as touring car races, drift contests, car show, and plus for $30 you can run your car on the track with an instructor with you!

No speed limit, they just give you a 15 min instruction then you get to drive. I saw the add in the new Grassroots, the web sight for the events should be up soon.

You can also do ride alongs with proffesional drivers.

The event on July 5th and 6th at Summit Point in DC is the one I want to attend. Others are a little too far. Anyone else interested in going?

Professional drivers .... hehehe
I might be one of the instructors there. I planned on going last year, but didn't make it (as was the case many times last year). I heard about it from many people and saw pleanty of pictures. It looked like a blast.
