Default For anyone on the new V710s.

Kumho recalls 710s

From TireRack

From what I've heard, it sounds like they are making good on it but how long will it take?

Ahhhhhhhhhh, Shit! Hopefully this exchange will not get it the way of me running any of the events I plan on running.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to get on this right away.

It looks like, not only do you get a "free" set of Ecstas or Victoracers, but you get a voucher for a set of the "new" V710 when it comes out in a few months.

2 sets for the price of 1, must be costing them a fortune.

ya, but they are a better company for doing that and addressing the issue. Cudos to them. In the long run the cost of doing that will be overseen by the brand loyalty gained im sure.

Real costly. They really seem to be on top of it. Making such drastic changes so quickly is a big step and is something that large companies tend to drag they're feet on. Just think about how long it took Bridgestone to admit to their tire problems.

Hopefully the exchange will go smooth.

Let's just say: this isn't the first quality control problem they've had. At least their public relations department is getting better at its job...
