Default 13 inch rims

So i am getting into autox these days and looking into buyin some race rubber. Hoosier is having a sale for 13 inch rubber for only 92 dollars.

The only problem is i cant find 13 inch rims... can anyone tell me where i can get 13 inch rims (preferably lightweight) for under 100 each?

wheels

theres a link.

switching to 13 inch wheels will take you out of HS though you will have to run in FSP if you plan on running Hoosiers.

1st - they're wheels. bikes have rims.
2nd - look at classing, you don't want to be thrown in to SP with that car... i'd recommend getting some performance shocks and maybe some grippy stock sized tires.

I don't think there will ever be a valid answer to the rims vs wheels. To me, a wheel is the entire rim/tire assembly.

What car are you putting them on? Ledsno has a 13x7 drag wheel for like $120-$150.

Just remember Hoosiers dont last for ever, or any R compound tire. You can expect about 40 killer runs and then they will start to fall off. I'm not saying that they are going to fall on there face but new tires are always faster.

But again what car and class are you running.

There are quite a few smaller cars that will work fine with 13" rims. But I wouldn't try it on your M3 though......

Big brakes are a total waste of money for autocross or even daily driving. New rotors, more agressive pads, clean fluid, and maybe SS lines are all you need. Larger brakes are to help disipate heat build up. Also a larger brake system on a FWD car will rob valuable power as its more rotating mass. 13's will actually help gearing out of a corner as well.
