Z32 brakes on a S13...
my question is if they'll fit w/o doing the 5lug conversion...i understand that i have to have the rotors drilled, but that's not much of a problem as i have access to a drill press...will they fit...and what are my swap options for the rear...and will i need to up to 16s or 17s?

You can do the z brakes on all four corners. Projectsilvia.com sells the ebrake adapter. The problem you probably will run into is clearance on the 4 lug stockers. I would convert to five lug and run the stock s14 se wheels.

yeah....the PDM kit seems a little pricey....but I like having brand new calipers....
I've also been wondering if there is an off the shelf 2 piece rotor that would work?

i never needed more than my 300z brakes on lowes motor speedway.
i have metal matrix ie stock hahah pads up front and auto zone pads outback.
the brakes will make you spit your food out your mouth. so i dont think you should look for big rotors just yet. oh and the 300's are on my 3100lb S14. your 2700lb s13 will be wonders better.
