Default Year differences in the gsr exhaust manifold?

I just bought a set of 4-1 headers for my 2000 gs-r , however I noticed they advertised a difference between 96-99 and 2000-2001. Is there a difference in placement or is that just how dc advertised it?

Yes, there is a difference.

The 96-99 GSR header is shorter and wont reach the cat on a eg civic, been through alot of different headers. The LS header will fit so will the 00-01 GSR header and same with type-r
headers (with modification to the cat) they are all the same in length. I am not positive, but i think the b16
header should be the same.

u can get some cheap pipeing some the size of ur exhuast and some slighly bigger so u can slide the correct size in smoothly but tight... then cut the proper size the length that u need and the larger cut like 2 4-6ins sleeves put them over the exhaust where u want to extend... slide the insert in the clamp down the sleeves... crappy explanition but i hope u get the idea... i had to do this to my DA

hope this is helpful
