Default which would be better for a fc rx7

wats up everybody

ok im trying to figure out if it would be better to put a small block in my girls fc or just rebuild the motor that comes with it. The car has been sitting for a while and i picked a motor and tranny for it from razmus (thanks man for your help) but when i was looking into this alot of people are saying that v8 is the way to go.

so to you people out there, the question for you is v8 or rotary?

thank for reading and any answers you have

Ignore those people.

Do an NA three-rotor. Everyone is going to tell you a rotary will blow up. They're just saying that because it's the cool thing to say. If you do your research (and don't go doing something stupid like putting a turbo on it) you'll be more than pleased with the results.

i agree to a certain extent, n/a rotaries are reliable but are still prone to the lively hood of their apex seals against detonation. V8 swaps are tried and true. so i think the best answer is to, weight out costs on both options: rebuild the rotary or a v8 swap.

me personally i would stick with the rotary...

Consider everything dude. If you count all the resources you have, (Your dad having that bad ass Pinto and all the other shit) it might be easier to go V8. It would be even easier to do a carburated one. Let me know which route you go as I might be interested in buying some shit back from you lol.

How do the apex seals have a livelihood? I didn't know they could hold down a paying job. Impressive. Rotary engines really earn their keep apparently. LOL.

I know what you were trying to say, it was just a hilariously horrible way of saying it.
