Will zc motor fit my 92 civic with all my factor stuff? like my d16 tranny, wireharness, d16z6 vtech FACTORY computer.. axel, MOTOR mounts?

basically will zc bolt in replacing my motor with no problem?

you're going to need a different ecu, and depending on what year the motor is, you may need to change the distributor and injectors. i think everything else should work, but im not positive.

if you don't already know you don't have the ability to do a motor swap.

What ZC are you talking about, the DOHC or the sohc versions?
If it's the sohc vtec version, its pretty much the same as a d16z6.

If DOHC: Basically all the dohc versions are like the D16's. The tranny's mount right up (so the axles stay the same), as do the motor mounts, the wiring harness with be plug and play as long as you get the ones for the right year (and even then I think the only real differences electrical wise is the dizzy). It's been quite a few years since I had a zc but I remember it being a very easy swap for my 88 crx si.

For DOHC ZC. The mount under the timing belt cover has to be switched out with the one on the 92-95 civic one. I would not run it on the p28 I would get a p06 and chip it with the correct basemap. The distributor will need a conversion harness and the injectors will need to be switched from the old motor.

There will probably be more stuff that needs to be done. A good site that has a ZC section is d-series.org there is a guy that knows alot about them on there he will be able to help more.

You can get a 92-95 ZC and it should bolt up with no problems. Check out www.thezcr.com
