Will 225/45/17 tires fit on 17x7.5 wheels?

Resently bought some 17 by 7.5 inch wheels. I have some toyo proxies (215/45/17) but i am looking at buying my buddies brand new falkens that are 225/45/17. Will they fit width wise and will they rub?

They will fit easily. Now whether they will rub on your EP, I dont know.

of course they'll fit on the rim. is your car lowered at all? i'm pretty sure they will fit on the car no problem.

Hillier's EP3 had 18's on it, but I searched around a little and couldn't find out his offset or what size tires he had on it. I would imagine that if it rubbed, it would be very little...maybe a slight fender roll or adding negative camber or stiffening the front shocks a bit (if that's an option for you).
