whinning noise when clutch is pressed in
i just put a new clutch pp flywheel and throw out bearring in my 95 gsr. now everytime i push in the clutch theres a loud whinning noise. i put the car on jack stands and was able to go through all the gears smooth. when the clutch was not pressed in there was no noise. any ideas of what my problem is? also this maybe stupid question but can u use reg 80w gear oil in the tranny or do u have to use honda genuine?

Re: whinning noise when clutch is pressed in
im sure its not helping it at all....80w is thick as shit...
makes everything tighter than it should be...
google gsr 5 speed tranny fluid...most say genuine honda fluid but a lot also say they are using 10w30...

Re: whinning noise when clutch is pressed in
make sure ur axles are all the way in ur tranny, and 10w30 is wat i use in my tranny, there is still the possibility that u could have bought a faulty TOB too.
