where the hell is the IACV (pics)
ok, i found some pics on honda-tech, but they werent detailed and i couldnt make it out. Its my DD 94 accord, and i need to clean it out... so if someone can see it in these pics and wants to use ms paint to circle it or something...that would be great...i need to drive it, the Formula only gets like 12 mpg

yes.... oh sweet I can see the pictures now.... damn work filters are killing me
yeah, its the black thing behind the intake to the right of the TB. Is the ecu throwing teh IACV code? If so, you can pull it apart are clean it out, also check out both plugs. If that doesnt fix it then you probably have to replace the motor or the wiring f'd up somewhere.

to check functionality....
ignition on, engine off - unplug and replug the iacv. if it didn't click, it may be dead or there's a wiring problem. Check for voltage at the IACV.
Remove and clean with tb cleaner, maybe a little wd-40. Check it again and see if it clicks/valve moves. (you can also check it with a battery to eliminate wiring possibilities). If it does nothing you're either testing it wrong or its dead.

the idle is at about 300 or so and drops lower sometimes. it drives fine, but once you come to a stop, it idles really low.
its not a big deal, it still drives.lol. its just my beater.. and i figure its not hard to clean it out...so might as well try it.
