What width tire would go with 17"x7" with 40 offset?

doesn't matter really, they'll all fit on a 7" wide rim. but 205 is the least likely to rub on your fenders, especially if you have a civic.

I just so happen to have 4 205/40/17 tires for sale, $50 per tire. they're still mounted, let me know if you want them.

I'm in Va Beach. they're Wanli tires (look like this... 
) , used them for a few hundred miles then my car broke down. I'll probably be at VMP on the 9th.
