Default This is what happens to a KA24DE after lots of abuse (56K NO)

Well, after years of abuse by both Greaser and I and getting closer and closer to that 450hp mark, my stock bottom end KA gave out today... Hit 4000/4500rpm, got a loud bang, and alot of shit flying out the back.. Pretty much everything for the new setup is here, just gotta put it together but the car won't be out again till next year.. Enjoy the pics..

Yea I managed the blow out the side of one of my KA's, the exhaust side looked the same but intake side was left untouched...You did a nice number on yours lol. Did you get to watch a rod bouncin down the road in ur rear view mirror too?

Nope, it's done.. In the picture you can't see, but in the middle of that dent is a crack...

I saw alot of stuff bouncing all road lol.. That one piece of metal is the only piece that was still in the engine bay haha
