What does this sound like to you?
First of all, this noise started up over night. Went to start my car this morning before work and there it was. First thing I checked when I got off work was the timing, everything still lined up fine. next I thought it might be the lifters, but it doesnt sound like any lifter tick I have ever heard, its more of a clattering then a tick.
I checked the plugs, they were fine, put a magnetic tool down the spark plugs, no metal shavings or anything which is good :P
Checked oil, seemed fine, put a bit more in to be sure, started her up and the same noise. Quick video:

Doesnt sound like lifter tick to me? More of a clatter
And heres a clip to compare to how it sounded before this clatter:

Not sure what else to check, I am kind of stumped. ANd I cant quite pinpoint exaclty where the noise is coming from. Definitely somewhere inside the head. TOok off the valve cover, but nothing foreign inside the head. Not sure where to go from here!

Did I not say that 6bolt motors do not crankwalk? 7bolt motors do not even crankwalk as much as you would like to think.
First thing I am going to do tonight after work is a compression test, drain the oil, drop the pan and look for debris, put fresh oil in it, some engine restore for the lifters, new oil filter, and a new pvc valve. Can anybody think of anything else?

Thats exactly what I think it is. One of the balance shafts froze up, going to confirm it tomorrow. Hopefully I can eliminate the BS shaft and go on boosting with my life
