what can i expect to make(single cam)
 
stock z6 block
stock y8 head with 2 layer headgasket
skunk 2 intake manifold with z6 throttle body stock injectors
dc sport 4-2-1 header
zc tranny with lightened flywheel and probally a stage 2 or 2 clutch
cold air intake

as for traction kyb's on ground controls with 205/50/15 all weather


im looking to get an idea of what i can make,not looking for anything crazy seeing how it is also my daily and im trying to lightly consume gas


any ideas let me know or if it would be better to just go ls in a crx

Not trying to be an asshole, but why are you using a thicker headgasket if you are going all motor? That is usualy used for turbo setups.

oem is 3 layer,i planned to use 2 layer

by the way also need the torque settings for rod bolts,i checked the haynes manual but couldnt find it

stock ones are 3 layer. 2 layer is thinner. :)

as for your single cam build, you will prolly be in the mid to high 15's.

single cam ftw!

if built good with the right parts you could maby get in the mid to high 14's

well good its not the permanent motor just something to get around in but with enough power to not get rear ended on the interstate

Just Put Ls swap In. Not hating on SOHC cats but In my opinion to much work and time. B swap quick, easy .

yes but its costly to buy all the swap parts,i plan to later on but i laready have a single cam to put in i would need a ls longblock,clutch,tranny,axles,mounts,linkages

Also, you can find full swaps for less than 800 bucks. Josh did his swap for less than 600
