website/location recommendation.

im trying to fix some OEM stuff on my dad's truck. its a 1991 chevy c1500. im looking for interior dash pieces and gauges, specifically a speedo and the entire dashboard. ive searched and searched google and what not, and cant seem to find anywhere that has the parts im looking for. i havent tried calling the dealer, one because im at work, and two, because im sure theyll be a tad overpriced for the year of the vehicle.

im also wondering how difficult it would be to remove the bench seat and install other seats in it's place. i know chevy released a different model of that truck that had 2 seats and a center console, i just dont know if it was released in the same year, or if the fitment would be proper.

just looking for some helpful info. thanks in advance.

i checked both of those places. neither have the parts im looking for.

im starting to think this is a dealer-only venture.

Re: website/location recommendation.

why couldnt you go to a junk yard like johnsons truck and mustang off bainbridge road and take a tape measure for the seats. if you are just looking to a replacement right? when you go like i said take a tape measurer and measure the bolts on the newer trucks to your trucks to see if you can mount them. im pretty sure that the cabs on that year are the same from 88-98. if anything you can always drill new wholes and put new bolts up to hold the seat down tight. make sure that you use like 2"x2" plates to spread the weight evenly.
