water in trunk 95 civic coupe

Default water in trunk 95 civic coupe

every time it rains i get water in my trunk, my lid had a dent so i replaced it. now I only get water on the left side. anybody have this problem? its a 1995 civic coupe.

the foam seals around your tail lights might be bad?

probably it...if not take some vaseline and wipe a thin layer on the trunk gasket,close the trunk lid as normal...dont slam the shit out of it,close it down till it latches...open the trunk and see if the seal(vaseline)is not touching somewhere

i have had the same issue with my last 3 hatches, replacing the seals always fixed the issue

the area where my spare goes? that area got water in it when it rained or i washed it, until i replaced the seals

found the leak, it was the thing in the left quarter panel that regulates air pressure or something.
